Material:
99% Al2O3 is a great material which offers many good mechanical and performance properties. It consists of 95% ceramic powder particles less than 0.1mm and bonding agent. Then it is molded into a green part, semi-solid, by mechanical press or isostatic press. Then it is sintered in a stove with a about 1460℃ temperature, thereby obtaining its typical material properties.

Because of its excellent properties, the alumina ceramic is used in variant industries like electronics, electrical manufacturing, medical products or automotive manufacturing. Here the alumina ceramic plunger or piston is widely applied in agricultural pumps where there are high speed and high pressure, as well as high temperature caused by high speed of piston movement. Ceramic piston or plunger is capable of endure all these conditions.
