Introduction
Ceramic, a non-organic material with much higher hardness than metallic parts, is a major engineering material. It offers a combination of good mechanical properties and electrical properties leading to a wide range of applications.
Technical ceramic is one of the ceramic categories, which refers the ceramic components, usually made from alumina ceramic, zirconia ceramic, silicon carbide or silicon nitride, used in manufacturing equipment, devices, machines, or other relevant facilities. These ceramic components are abrasion resistant, corrosion resistant, super hard and high temperature resistant, and can offer considerable advantages over metal components for tough, long-lifespan products like domestic and industrial pumps. At present, the motor of pumps such as micro pump, shield pump, circulating pump, centrifugal pump, impeller pump, magnetic drive pump, ground source heat pump, aquarium pump, fountain pump etc.
The alumina ceramic piston shown in the picture is used as an anti-friction components in the water pumps which can endure high pressure of different types of fluid, and at the same time resist corrosive fluid.
