Alumina ceramics is a non-organic material with much higher hardness than metallic parts. Because of the universal existence of aluminum and oxygen, the price of alumina material maintain a comparatively lower price than other materials.

Usually at room temperature the alumina powder with bonding agent is molded into solid green bodies with expected dimensions. Then the green bodies are sent into a hot tunnel stove to be fired, which process is known as sintering. After sintering, alumina ceramic parts will achieve its typical material properties
